The setting operates over a 49 week period.
We are currently looking for a fun, friendly and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
First Steps Montessori
First Steps Montessori in Naas is expanding and require appropriately qualified ELC teachers to work as part of an early years team. We are seeking warm, responsive and appropriately qualified staff to join our team.
We currently require experienced Early Childhood Professionals with a minimum qualification of Level 5 in early year’s education. Additional qualifications are desirable.
Start date: 23rd August 2021
Contracts available: 8:45am – 15.30pm Monday to Friday, Sessional hours and relief cover.
Salary: Attractive salary for the suitable candidate, payable over 10 months inclusive of holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ability to work in collaboration and communication within a team of Montessori teachers.
Assess and plan for children’s learning based on their interests and needs.
Excellent administrative skills to document learning and maintain all relevant records.
Adhering to company policies, procedures and operational practices at all times.
Ensuring positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, staff, parents and carers.
Awareness of early years regulations, relevant legislation and policies.
Commitment to developing an inclusive setting within the context of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion guidelines 2016.
Developing practice within the guidelines of the Aistear-Siolta Practice guide.
Undertake personal responsibility to comply with the services Child protection policy.
Willingness to carry out other duties consistent with the role of an Early Years Educator as required form time to time by the Manager/Proprietor.
Engage in continual professional development.
The successful candidate should have:
Early Childhood Care and Education qualification minimum Level 5, additional qualifications desirable.
Knowledge of working with the Aistear-Siolta practice guide Curriculum Framework
Good communication skills - Fluency in both spoken & written English

We are currently looking for a friendly, warm and enthusiastic childcare practitioner to join our team here at our homely South Co. Dublin Creche. We pride ourselves on our home from home approach to childcare, with the children’s best interest and care, as well as staffs well being at the forefront of our practice and approach. We encourage staff input and ideas, and believe that the key to a successful and happy childcare environment comes from an active and supportive team based approach.
Applicants ideally will have a minimum of 2 years experience, with a minimum of a FETAC Level 5 qualification, in Early Years essential. The ideal candidate will also display excellent communication skills, enjoy and work well as part of a team and have a good/up to date knowledge of early years teachings & regulations.
Creche located on Sandycove Dart Line and close to a number of Dublin bus routes .
