Early Years Educator Required - NEWBRIDGE

Play and Learn Childcare & Education are hiring an early years educator for our Newbridge branch!

The candidate should have:

A minimum level 5 QQI qualification in early childhood education and care

A genuine love and interest for working with children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent level of spoken english

An ability to work as part of team

An ability to work in partnership with parents and other educators within the centre to create a home from home environment

Duties will be discussed in full at interview level. Please see a brief description below:

• Support the provision of high quality care & educaiton. 
• Support childrens holisitic well-being & development through planning, documenting, observing etc. 
• Plan and conduct activities based on emergent interests that are observed. 
• Follow familiar and child appropriate routines set out by management.
• Ensure a good standard of hygiene is kept at all times. 
• Attend regular staff meetings.
• Occassionally engage in professional development which is paid for by the company. 

• A minimum QQ1 level 5 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivilant 
• A willingness to work with all age groups from 12 months - 12 years. 
• Two written references.
• Police clearnance will be required from any country inhabited for more than 6 months.
