Childcare Service- Room Leader

Service: Kangaroo Childcare Located in Collon, Co. Louth

Leading a room within the Service to deliver high quality care and education to young children

 Ensuring the learning environment provides engaging activities for children across both the indoor and outdoor areas

Planning learning opportunities to support children to develop and meet their individual milestones

Developing a good relationship with Parents

Working with other childcare practitioners to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a daily basis

Relevant Level 7 or 8 or above Early Years qualification

Mandatory minimum of 3 years paid experience working within an Early Years setting

Good understanding of the Aistear framework

Strong knowledge and understanding of the preschool Regulations.

Ability to build trust and strong relationships with both childcare practitioners and parents

This role is subject to good references and garda vetting
