Job Description

We provide Quality Childcare for the children in our service. We have an excellent and dedicated team who work to the highest professional standards, delivering not just an education, but an extended family.

This  role would  suit an early years educator who is dedicated to providing quality, inclusive child care, in a warm, nurturing and supportive environment. We are looking for a motivated educator to inspire and be part of a great team who work with children from 18months – 2.5years.

Applications can only be considered from people with a relevant qualification in early childhood education and care, as this is a legal requirement. Other qualifications in other unrelated fields cannot be considered as they do not meet the legal requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To be able to communicate positively and be able to solve problems and situations in the same manner .
  • Participate in the development and delivery of curriculum .
  • Participate in the child observations
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Create positive learning environments .
  • Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff
  • Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe
  • You will be working as part of a team of dedicated professionals with a child centred approach

The successful candidate must have

  • A minimum or equivalent to a Level 6 but the ideal candidate would have a BA in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • 2 Written References required
  • Experience although not essential would be an advantage
  • Have a knowledge of the Childcare Act 1991 & Pre-School Regulations 2016
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of Siolta and Aistear
  • A love of working with under 3’s
  • Living in Ireland and available for interview
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Be a good team player and uses their own initiative .
