Preschool Room Childcare Educator
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years Educator to work for a community-based childcare service in a purpose-built facility in Crumlin, Dublin 12. We support children and families to reach their true potential and achieve their goals. We are committed to providing Quality Early Learning and Care Experiences with a dynamic staff team. We have an opening for a full-time staff member in our preschool room.
Roles and Responsibilities
Main Job Purpose: ·
- To work as a Childcare Educator providing high-quality best-practice early learning and care experiences for children in Crumlin Childcare Centre.
- To work cooperatively in delivering on all required duties
- To report to the Room Leader and Centre Manager of the Crumlin Childcare Centre
- To work as part of a team delivering the highest standard of care and education line with Aistear and Siolta guidelines.
- To assist in maintaining all regulatory paperwork where necessary.
- To act as a key worker.
- To assist in maintaining up-to-date necessary records in compliance with the most recent Childcare Pre-school Services Regulations, role book, accident report book, when necessary.
- To assist with the design and implementation of a stimulating programme underpinned by a holistic approach, enhancing the child’s natural growth and development.
- To ensure the protection of children in accordance with Children First: National Guidelines for the Protection and Welfare of Children 1999.
- To assist with child developmental observations and record them appropriately in partnership with the Room Leader
