Preschool Manager

About Us: An Naíonra Charraig Uí Leighin is a Community Sessional Service located in the heart of Carrigaline. We provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children during term time.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Preschool Manager to lead our preschool. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the preschool service, ensuring a developmentally appropriate environment for children. This role includes overseeing staff, implementing policies, and maintaining high standards in early learning and care.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 7 or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years paid experience in a childcare setting
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities
• Knowledge of childcare regulations and child protection policies
• Proficient in computer use and budget management

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the preschool
• Support and supervise staff
• Implement child-centred curriculum
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines
• Working knowledge of HIVE, ECCE and NCS
• Liaise with parents and guardians
